A deal for Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana to join Dutch giants Ajax has collapsed.

The Dutch Eredivisie club earlier this week agreed to loan Kamaldeen Sulemana from Southampton on a season-long basis.

The deal concluded two days ago included an option for Ajax to sign the Black Stars striker on a permanent contract at the end of the 2024/25 football season.

The Ghanaian was seen as a successor to Steven Bergwijn, who left the Eredivisie giants for Saudi Arabia. Today, the latest reports suggest the deal will fall through due to issues with the paperwork.
