WB Games and NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer this morning that reveals a new version of Sektor on Mortal Kombat 1: Reign of Khaos. The more things change, the more they stay the same, as this female version of Sektor follows Grandmaster Sub-Zero and his plans for the Lin Kuei, but it comes at a higher price than some might have expected. We got a trailer with new information on the next story arc, as well as a good look at her moves and fatal accidents. Sector

In Fire God Liu Kang’s New Era, Sektor grew up immersed in the Lin Kuei culture – her father was a master armorer and her mother a leading warrior. This vast knowledge of weapons and the powerful combat skills passed down from her parents make Sektor a combatant like no other. Sensing a kindred spirit, Sub-Zero shared his grand vision of the Lin Kuei’s future with her and chose her as his most trusted lieutenant. Now, Sektor will force the Lin Kuei to evolve, and those who cannot change will be eliminated. Sektor’s deadly moveset is on full display in the new trailer, showing off her advanced weaponry to destroy opponents, including a flamethrower, projectile strikes, and rocket boosters for enhanced movement and the ability to float. The video also shows off Sektor’s Animality, a brutal finishing move that allows her to transform into a rhinoceros to annihilate defeated foes.

Mortal Kombat 1: Reign of Khaos

Mortal Kombat 1: Reign of Khaos is a new extension for Mortal Kombat 1the latest installment of the acclaimed series Mortal Kombat video game franchise developed by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, which has sold over 4 million copies worldwide to date. The expansion presents the next phase of the genre-defining narrative centered around peace and anarchy, with all-new story mode chapters (available September 24), as well as the addition of Kombat Pack 2 including six playable characters – Cyrax, Sektor and Noob Saibot (available from September 24) and guest warriors Ghostface (Scream franchise), T-1000 (Terminator 2: Judgment Day) and Conan the Barbarian (post-premiere release date to be announced at a later date).
