1 dead, 1 injured in Dodge crash

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One person was killed and another was injured in a crash Wednesday morning on Dodge.

The crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of 62nd and Dodge, in front of the UNO campus.

Dodge Road is closed in both directions with heavy traffic reported east and west.

A traffic detour has been put in place around the UNO campus.

Drivers are advised to use an alternate route such as Pacific to Leavenworth or Underwood.

Another accident is disrupting the morning commute to JFK Airport near Chandler.

Drivers are advised to use the alternate route Fort Crook Rd to 13th or 24th.
