Actress Ananya Panday was spotted travelling in Mumbai on Wednesday on the metro with the stars of her upcoming series Call Me Bae, and her behaviour left fans and passengers alike in awe. Traveling by subway

The actress was accompanied by her co-stars Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Gurfateh Pirzada and Muskkaan Jaferi during the metro journey at the Western Express station, which created a huge buzz and euphoria among the passengers.

Dressed in a chic yet casual outfit, Ananya was spotted in a denim crop top with fringed jeans. According to several videos on social media, she was seen beaming with joy as she interacted with her co-stars, posed for pictures and even took selfies. Her co-stars were equally enthusiastic, laughing and joking with each other as they passed through the station.

The subway ride was part of a promotional strategy for her upcoming show. During the trip, they posed in front of a poster for the show.

About the program

The Ananya Panday series is directed by Collin D’Cunha. The Prime Video show will see billionaire fashionista Bae (Ananya) navigating life after being disowned by her family. Bae lives a lavish lifestyle, but her privileged and opulent world suddenly comes crashing down when she is disowned by her family. Now, in Mumbai, Bae is left to fend for herself. The trailer shows Bae’s struggles to adjust to her new reality — from navigating public transport to the demanding life of a journalist in Mumbai. It is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. Call Me Bae will premiere on the streaming platform on September 6. The cast also includes Vir Das, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur.
