Traffic on Interstate 5 backed up for 2 miles after crash

A 2-mile traffic jam formed on I-5 north just past North Lake Samish Drive Tuesday afternoon.

The crash closed the right lane near milepost 248. State Patrol and incident response crews were on the scene.

Delays are expected in the area, according to a social media post from the Washington State Department of Transportation.
