Miller Road was closed between Baseline and Maricopa roads as police investigated the crash, although a Buckeye Police Department spokesperson said the restrictions would be lifted on Monday evening.

Police say a male driver initially crashed into an apartment and ran away, although police soon located him. He, along with a female passenger, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No one inside the apartment was injured, although people in a nearby apartment had minor injuries caused by broken glass, according to police.
