The accident occurred after the vehicle they were travelling in hit a truck near Konza.

Two other people were taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in the incident.

According to Dr Charles Mulinge, a paramedic at Machakos Level Five Hospital, the injured are receiving treatment at the facility.

There was a huge traffic jam following the accident.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased was shifted to the Machakos Level 5 Hospital morgue where investigation is ongoing.
